Marketing /Training /Customer Assistant

Salary: £15,600.00 to £18,000.00 /year

Healthy Workstations has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Marketing Assistant to join our progressive and expanding organisation. You will be responsible for managing customer relations, brand management, Training and event planning, liaison/hosting with delegates. You will provide full administrative and organisational support, producing delegate packs & PowerPoint presentations/supporting literature and will be based out of the main office in Swansea Valley. Creative skills include researching and writing blogs on relevant ergonomic topics, creating monthly newsletters and updating social media platforms, adding website content to our e-commerce site and attending product demonstrations. A knowledge of Google AdWords/analytics would be helpful.

Other administrative duties to include primary lead for processing client requests, seeking out Tendering opportunities through website portals and working on tender proposals, annual accreditation of training courses, and assisting with Data Protection compliance

As aid to the Managing Director the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in a responsible role. Applicants must display excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, be able to use own initiative and will demonstrate exceptional I.T., written and spoken communication skills. A strong and confident telephone manner is a necessity.

Other responsibilities:

  • Diary management, efficient location planning and scheduling of Assessor and Training schedules
  • Handling cancellations and responsive alteration of pre-planned appointments
  • Understanding Data Protection and be responsible handling personal information
  • Organising and preparing workshops, internal/external training events, hosting clients/meet & greet
  • Organising and managing scheduled meetings – Eventbrite
  • Event follow-up – facilitate customer requests for additional information
  • Organising our on-site Training Room/checking equipment
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries and greeting visitors
  • Preparation of course materials. Updating client records/notes
  • Sourcing of marketing materials/branded gifts
  • Membership of Professional organisations – annual renewal/ award schemes/achievements
  • Monitor the follow up of actions (Awards where/who/what)
  • Collation and production of statistical reports and papers
  • Maintaining effective systems for filing

Key Skills:

  • Sound I.T. Skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office/Outlook, PowerPoint, Photoshop, MailChimp software
  • Multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Efficient planning skills
  • Effective research and sourcing
  • Accurate reporting skills
  • Sound communicator via all mediums
  • Marketing or customer facing experience.
